- The activity starts with a 4:30 am pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. After a two-and-a-halfhour drive in a private van, we arrive at the start of the hike, where we enjoy a delicious breakfast. We begin the hike, which lasts about two hours, to reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain. You will have time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the views of the red mountains and the Ausangate Glacier, one of the highest mountains in the region.
- After taking photos, the guide will explain the origin of the mountain's colors. We then start our descent, and if you still have energy, we can walk to a viewpoint to see the stunning red valley. Finally, we return to the lunch spot and drive back to Cusco, with a two-hour journey by car.
