Camino Inca
Dia 1.
- Day 1:
Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba
(approx. 6 hours hiking).
- We pick you up at 5:00 a.m.
from your hotel in Cusco and
travel by private van through
the Sacred Valley to kilometer
82 (Piskacucho), the starting
point of the Inca Trail. After
passing the checkpoint, we
cross the Vilcanota River and
begin our hike. This first day is
considered an acclimatization
day. Along the way, we’ll see
the Inca fortress of Huillca
Raccay, the extensive
Patallacta archaeological site,
and beautiful views of the
snow-capped W’akay Willca
(Veronica Mountain, 5,860 m).
Our first campsite is in
Wayllabamba (3,000 m.a.s.l.).

Dia 2.
- Day 2:
Wayllabamba – Pacaymayu
(approx. 6–7 hours hiking).
- We wake up at 5:00 a.m.
and enjoy breakfast
before beginning our
ascent to the highest point
of the trail:
Warmiwañusca or Dead
Woman’s Pass (4,200 m).
On the way, we may see
hummingbirds and
various endemic plants,
such as the Q’ueuña tree,
native to the cloud forest.
After reaching the summit,
we descend to the
Pacaymayu valley (3,550
m), where we camp for
the second night.

Dia 3.
- Day 3:
Pacaymayu – Wiñayhuayna
(approx. 10 hours hiking).
- After breakfast at 5:00 a.m.,
we start the most impressive
day of the trek. We begin with
a gentle climb to the
Runkurakay archaeological site,
and then reach the second
pass. After resting, we descend
to the third highest point
(3,680 m), with breathtaking
views of the mountains and
valleys. We visit
Phuyupatamarca and then
continue down a steep trail
with approximately 3,000 steps
to reach our third campsite at
Wiñayhuayna (2,680 m), where
we will have a traditional
farewell ceremony in the
evening.
Camino Inca
Dia 4.
- Day 4:
Wiñayhuayna – Machu Picchu.
- We wake up at 4:30 a.m. and
have breakfast at 5:00 a.m. We
begin our hike to Inti Punku
(Sun Gate, 2,730 m), arriving
just before sunrise for the first
magical view of Machu Picchu
(2,400 m). We continue down
to the site for the classic photo,
then exit briefly to use
restrooms and grab a snack at
the Belmont Sanctuary Lodge.
We return to the site for a 2-
hour guided tour of Machu
Picchu. If you have the energy,
you can climb Huayna Picchu
(2,720 m), which takes around
50 minutes. In the afternoon,
we return to Cusco by
Expedition train. An optional
extra night in Aguas Calientes
is available for those who want
to explore the town or relax in
the thermal baths.

- A duffle bag, where you put your 6 kg / 12 pounds of personal items per
person.
- 4 season tent for every 2 trekkers.

Entrance to Huayna Picchu $60 per person book in advance so we can
secure permits because only 400 people enter a day.
- Sleeping Bag $15 per bag for entire trek.

- Vistadome train it is $40.
- Travel Insurance you are strongly recommended to take out travel
