The 7 km uphill hike crosses solitary valleys, reddish hills, and high plateaus where you can spot typical Andean fauna such as vicuñas, alpacas, and highland birds. Along the way, you’ll be amazed by two dreamlike lagoons: one with an intense emerald green color and the other with a deep sky blue, both nestled between mountains. The journey culminates at the iconic Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, where you can marvel at its multicolored stripes and capture unforgettable photos. The return is only 3 km, allowing you to descend with ease and fully enjoy the scenery.
