SINCRENA COCHA LAKE

SINGRENA COCHA.

  • The tour to Singrenacocha Lagoon begins with pickup from your hotel at 5:00 am.
  • We will then travel by private transport to the town of Ocongate, located 3 hours from Cusco.
  • Here, we will take a short break for breakfast.
  • We will then continue to Singrenacocha Lake (4,450 m), located 30 minutes from the town of Ocongate.
  • We will then arrive at Yanacancha, a small community located near the lake and the Ausangate Mountains. From here, we will begin the 1-hour descent to the lake to explore and hike around this beautiful lake. This will take approximately an hour and a half.
  • Also along the way, you may see birds such as alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, vizcachas, and, with luck, even the Andean condor.
  • After enjoying the beauty of Singrenacocha, we'll begin the return trip to the town of Pampacancha, where we can enjoy the hot springs and have lunch.
  • We'll then return to Cusco around 6:00 p.m. We'll drop you off at your hotel.
